How Twitch Streamer ‘Frosty’ Designed a Sapphire Iced Watch Live for 50,000 Fans

Frosty, a 24-year-old Twitch streamer known for his FPS gameplay and sarcastic wit, isn’t your average luxury buyer. But when he crossed 1 million followers and landed a new sponsorship deal, he wanted to celebrate with something physical — something custom, loud, and 100% “him.”

So, he took his followers behind the scenes — live on stream — as he worked with a NYC Diamond District jeweler to build two pieces:

  • A custom sapphire-set bustdown watch

  • An iced-out pendant shaped like his stream logo

Over 50,000 live viewers watched the project come to life.

Step 1: The Watch — Sapphire + Steel

Frosty started with a pre-owned Rolex Datejust 41mm, stainless steel with a clean fluted bezel. From there, the customization began:

  • Sapphire baguette bezel (deep blue to match his Twitch color scheme)

  • VS clarity diamonds on the bracelet and case

  • Frosted dial with a transparent “F” etched in the center

  • Iced crown guard and clasp

The work was done under a microscope in real time, with fans spamming “W” in chat every time a gem was set.

Step 2: The Pendant — Stream Logo in VS+ Stones

The pendant design came from his channel’s frosted letter “F” logo. The final piece featured:

  • White gold base

  • VS+ diamonds around the border

  • A frosted enamel center

  • Micro-sapphire accents to match the watch

  • Hidden bail for a tennis chain he already owned

What made it special? Frosty named a few longtime subscribers and had their usernames engraved on the back.

The Reveal

Two weeks later, both pieces were overnighted to Frosty’s apartment. He unboxed them live during a “Sub Only” stream. “This is the hardest thing I own now,” he said, “and y’all built it with me.”

Clips from the stream hit Twitter, Reddit, and TikTok. Fans called it “a new wave” — blending jewelry culture with gaming and creator milestones.

Why Streamers Are Entering the Iced-Out Era

The crossover between gaming and jewelry is growing fast. From esports pros to content creators, more streamers are turning Twitch payouts into legacy pieces — celebrating milestones with custom watches, engraved pendants, and high-end diamond sets.

And the NYC Diamond District, especially shops that ship worldwide and offer live design consults, is quickly becoming the new go-to for creators who want to flex — but with purpose.
